Just found your response. I am working on the Story Family. It seems they were in Camden, SC before 1816 at which time they moved from Salem of the lower part of SC to the Salem of the upper part of SC-into Pendleton Dist., SC. They went to England around 1780 because Dinah Story was born there and remained there until she moved back to the States in 1816 with her husband Rev. Jeremiah Winter and family. Charles Story, Sr. married twice-to a Rosanna McLeon and 2nd to a Mary Alexander. Some source says he was born in Ipswich, Essex Co., Massachusetts. It seems that Dinah was a child of this Charles Story, Sr. and Mary Alexander.
