Hi, All,
I am looking for any information about Kindred Story, (Storey) who was born about 1812, probably in Greenville County, South Carolina. He married Delila Henderson, daughter of Ezekiel Henderson, and Elizabeth Brasher, and their family was in the 1850 to 1880 censuses, in Fairview Township, Greenville County, SC. Kindred Story may have been the son of a John Story, or William Story, as there is a land sale from William Story to John Story in Greenville County, in 1790, 80 acres on Horse Creek: Greenville Land Records, Book B. Page 175. Interested in any info about their descendants. Does anyone know when Kindred Story and Delila died, and where they are buried?
Also interested in any info about their children, and who they married, Etc. especially Mahulda Storey, born about 1838, who I think married Silas J. Parker. Silas J. and Mahulda Storey Parker are in the 1860 Franklin County, Georgia census, but Silas J. Parker, Georgia 24th Inf. Company H., was killed in the Civil War, on Christmas Day of 1862. Mahulda Storey Parker and her children were back in the home of her parents, Kindred and Delila Story, (Storey) in the 1870, and 1880 censuses of Fairview Township, Greenville County, SC. What happened to Mahulda, or Huldy Storey Parker?
