Looking for info on the Story family of Ann Story:
Ann Story, daughter of a colonel [unknown first name] Story from Ascot, England.
She married (1791) James Brodie (b. Scotland 1769 – d. India 1802), son of James Brodie of Brodie (1744-1824).
She first lived in India, Madras. Had 7 children by the said marriage:
Margaret (d.1826)
Jane (b.1796)
Charlotte (b.1797)
Isabella (b.1798)
William (1799-1873) (later Brodie of Brodie)
Louisa (1801-1862)
George (1802-1826)
After her husbands death she lived at Brodie Castle, Moray Scotland.
And married secondly: Lieutenant-general Sir Thomas Bowser, K.C.B.
She was apparently very beautiful.
