Dr. Edward Stonestreet (1830-1903)

Good evening, my friends.

I am Clarence Hickey of Rockville, Maryland. I am an interpretative docent with the Montgomery County Historical Society, Rockville, MD. I also am a reenactor and portray Dr. Edward E. Stonestreet for community events and in the Society's Stonestreet Museum of 19th Century Medicine, in Rockville.

I am continually searching for historical information on Dr. Stonestreet who practiced medicine in Rockville for 51 years, from 1852-1903. He also saw service as a Civil War Surgeon. I have considerable information on him, but am always seeking more. What the Historical Society does not have is much personal or family information, no personal letters, and few photos.

If anyone reading this is a relative of Dr. Stonestreet, I would love to talk with you. You can se some of the ways in which the Historical society and I have preserved Dr. Stonestreet's name and history at these web sites:

Thank you for considering my request.

Regards,

Clarence Hickey
