I kind of take that back that I can find no one connected to Queen Alliquippa and the Iroquios Nation. The person connected is George Crogan, the Indian Agent for Queen Alliquippa.Later, in the very early 1800's, George Crogan is in an Albany NY land deal with William Cooper the Mayor of Albany.Other party members to the land deal are Gen James O'Hara, John Mitchell and the Craig Brothers, Alexander Hamilton all from Pittsburgh plus Arron Burr from Kentucky.William Cooper is James Fenimore Cooper's father. Also involved is William Franklin who is Benjamin Franklin's son who has connections to David Rhettenhouse a survey equipment maker who made surveyor equipment for Lewis and Clark.
What so interesting about this is Gen James O'Hara and Col John Mitchell who was his assistant were in the Revolutionary War together out of Pittsburgh.Gen James O'Hara was the supply officer of Gen Rogers Clark. Gen Rogers Clarks's brother is William Clark who was the partner of Meriwether Lewis.Meriwether Lewis who lived in Pittsburgh for 10 years left Pittsburgh in his newly built boat to pick up William Clark in Kentucky September 31 1803.
James O'Hara his son Butler O'Hara and the John Mitchell family later moved South for the cotton trade with England. Then David O Selznick the producer of the 1939 movie Gone With the Wind, a story about Scarlett O'Hara and her family, was born and raised in O'Hara township Pittsburgh. An easy Google item. Then Mrs Marriwether and Hamilton's are among others in the book.
The story of Queen Alliquippa is way bigger then you think.
