Sherry,

What's your mother's name? Do you come down from the Rittenhouses?

Checking my database for Willis and going back brought me to Joseph D. Stoneking, my 3rd grt-g'father. We are possibly related I'm sure.

Joseph's 1st wife, Rebecca McDiffot, my 3rd grt-g'mother is buried in the Stoneking-Pruitt Cemetery and he's in the Stoneking Cemetery with his 2nd wife, Elizabeth Morgan.

My g'parents,Ada Wingo & Jesse Stoneking, my grt-g'parents, Rachel Cumberledge & Andrew Stoneking, and my 2nd grt-g'parents, Lavina Piles & George Washington Stoneking are all buried in the Stoneking Cemetery as is a lot of my other relatives, Elizabeth Stoneking (my father's sister) and Harry Frakes included.

I've been an old Gin Ridger visitor with relatives, etc. many times. My father, Bennie E. Stoneking (d. Feb 23, 2003) was born there as his father and his father was. They owned the old Gin Ridge Store for years. Down the first road east of the old Cemetery was my g'father's farm with coal mines. My brother was born there.

I still go back to Macomb several times a year. possibly will be there Nov 8th. I usually try to make a trip to the Genealogical Library when there.

I'd be glad to help you go back further for your ancestors.
