Hello,
I am looking for information regarding the parents of
and spouse of James Harvey Stoneking born in Pennsylvania.
According to my family's genealogy, he was married to
a Saphrona Ajost who died in 1874. Saphronia is refuted
to be a Sioux Indian Princess whose name was changed in
a Missionary School in Nebraska or somewhere in the midwest.
They had several children:

2 Sarah Stoneking b: 1853 in Pleasant, IA
3 Margaret Jane Stoneking b: March 27, 1853 in WV
4 Matilda Stoneking b: 1854 Pleasant, IA
5 Mary A Stoneking b: 1857
6 James Harvey Stoneking II b: 1858 Lucas Co, IA
7 Amanda E Stoneking b: 1860
8 Hiram Lincoln Stoneking b: November 19, 1861 Chariton IA
d: June 04, 1941 Crawford, NE

9 Eliza E Stoneking b: 1862
10 Jacob G Stoneking b: 1863
11 Francis F Stoneking b: 1866
12 John I. Stoneking b: 1869
Notation from some genealogical papers passed on to me:
James Harvey Stoneking I - sired 15 children. 5 whom
died at one time while eating green watermellon. If this
is true, I am missing three children of
James Harvey Stoneking I. I don't have his birth year,
place, or death year or place. Same for his wife other
than the year of death 1874.
Any and all help or information would be appreciated.
