My father was sent to Kingsley Fairbridge Farmschool Pinjarrah Western Australia at age 9 on the SS Ballarat with a large group of other children. He was told he was an orphan and his older brother Horace was left behind in England and they never had any contact details for one another. Took 50 years for them to re-unite.
I now have the Marriage Cert for George Wilkinson & Elizabeth Anne Smith,
also the Birth Cert for Sydney my father.
Have Birth Cert forGeorge Wilkinson Stonehouse.
also his parents Marriage Cert.James Stonehouse and Alice Wilkinson.
From there it gets awkward as there are so many James Stonehouses around the area at the same time, and James is used for several generations in the family.
Also my Mother being a STONEHOUSE before marriage to my father who is a STONEHOUSE complicates it even more.
I am unsure of which James Stonehouse is the father of James who married Alice Wilkinson and so on backwards.
