Transcribed below is a paper trail of John Dietrich Stonebraker (Revolutionary War Veteran - R10223PA)and the family of his wife Rebecca as thus far discovered in post 1800 Ohio and Kentucky.

STONEBRAKER, John - (1804) Federal Land Series, Vol 1, 1788-1810,p-63,#891, CIN-EML-2-4-34+ Cash Purchase, Cincinnati Land Office, East Meridian Line T2, R4 sec 34,+ (more than one half of section)Cash payments by John Stonebraker for 320 acres in section 34, T4N,R2E EML, Butler Co., Ohio at 2 dollars per acre. Certificate Number 678,Total Cost $703.02. First deposit made 29 June, 1804, paid in full 27 June, 1808.
Patent granted 1 May 1809, recorded for transmission in Letter Book No.2, page 30. Original patent certificate burned in the Hall Of Archives at Washington D. C. during the British Shelling of 1814.

STONEBRAKER, Susannah m. Stillwell HEADY 18 Jul 1808, Butler Co. Ohio,by William Smith, J.P (Not sure who Susannah is. She is too old to be Rebecca's daughter but may have been raised by her. Susannah seems to maintain close contact with John Stonebraker and family, could be a daughter of John's first wife or a niece.)

STONEBRAKER, John in 1810, entered into an indenture with his brother Sebastian STONEBRAKER by which he sold 160 acres of his land. The agreement was signed in german script - Johannes D'trch Stonebraker.
The agreement was co-signed by Rebecca Stonebraker (her mark) and witnessed by Nathan Griffith and Ninian Beaty (Butler Co., OH Lands)

HEADY, Rebecca b. 11 Jan 1811, Salt River KY, to Stillwell and Susannah Stonebraker Heady. (LDS - FamilySearch)

STONEBRAKER, John on the 8th day of August 1812, in the County of Butler, OH made a life time grant of 5 acres of the land where he then lived to Nathan GRIFFITH and his wife Catherine to have and to hold during their natural lives, for sum of one dollar. The grant was signed in german script and apparently reads Johann D'trch Stonebraker.

GRIFFITH, Susannah appointed guardian of minor children of Stillwell Heady, deceased, in April of 1824, Spencer Co., KY : Rebecca, Elizabeth and Christian. John Stonebraker - Security.(Spencer Co., KY Orphans Court)

STONEBRAKER, John appears on the Nelson Co., KY tax rolls from 1819 to 1823 and on the Spencer Co., tax rolls from 1824 to 1828 and is assessed for 120 to 130 acres on the Salt River and Cox's Creek drainages and for 5 horses.

STONEBRAKER, John - administrator of the estate of John DODD of Bullitt Co., KY, presented the belongings of the deceased for appraisal on 20 April 1829. signed in english script by John Stonebraker. (Bullitt Co.,

STONEBRAKER, John,- DODD, Ruby and -MORATY, Peter listed on 1831 Bullitt Co., KY tax rolls.

STONEBRAKER, John, age 80, Sgt. in the Pennsylvania Militia applied for a Revolutionary War Pension to Berks Co., PA by mail from Lincoln Co., MO on 15 Mar 1833. Application approved by the State of PA, rejected by Federal Revue, Improper Procedure

SEAL, William, husband of Sophia STONEBRAKER, listed on the tax rolls of Hardin Co., KY in 1836.

STONEBRAKER, John R10223 PA, Applied for pension in Hardin Co. KY- 23 Sept 1836, stating he was a private in the Pennsylvania Militia and giving his age as 94. The application accepted by Hardin County but
