Charles Stone, b. Hatfield, Yks; colliery owner in Barnsley, Yks, Eng.
I am looking for information on Walter Charles Stone/Stones, who was married to Anne Kidd (sister of my great-great grandfather). However, Walter Charles Stone/Stones was usually referred to as Charles Stone.
Charles seems to have married three times: to Margaret; Mary; and Anne Kidd.
I believe that Charles Stone was born about 1812 in Hatfield, Yorkshire, the son of John Stone and Elizabeth of Hatfield. I also have a supposed birthplace as Barnby Dun, for Charles Stone, but I have seen no vital records tying Charles to being born in Barnby Dun. I believe this is Charles' christening record:

Charles Stone married (1) Margaret, who was born abt. 1812 in Stainbro/Stainsborough, Yorkshire. They had six known children (though there were likely more). All children could have surname of Stone/Stones.
1. Ann Stones, born abt. 1841 in Silkstone, Yorkshire
2. William Henry Stone, born abt. 1837 in Deepcar of Silkstone, Yorkshire
3. Mary Stones, born abt. 1841 in Silkstone, Yorkshire
4. Elizabeth Stones, born abt. 1848 in Silkstone, Yks
5. Ellen Stones, born abt. 1837 in Deepcar, Yorkshire
6. John Stones, born abt. 1843 in Silkstone, Yorkshire
Early on in his life, Charles Stone seems to have first lived in Deepcar, Yorkshire, moving to Silkstone probably after 1837. In Silkstone, Charles Stone owned some coal mines and bought the Red Lion inn in Silkstone. Silkstone is close by to Cawthorne, Yorkshire, which by 1861 Charles Stone was living there. This would be how he met his last wife, Anne Kidd, Anne having grown up in Cawthorne.
Later, Charles Stone moved to Barnsley where he lived at Jordan Villa, Wellfield Road, Barnsley, Yorkshire, where he continued as a colliery owner and real estate. Charles married his last wife, Anne Kidd,in 1882 in Yorkshire. The couple lived at Jordan Villa until Charles Stone died Dec. 19, 1889 at Jordan Villa. Supposedly Charles left an estate worth 100,000 pounds (British money) when he died, and that his wife, Anne, got 25,000 pounds when he died.

If anyone descends or knows of anything about Charles and his family/children, I'd much appreciate any help. My connection to Charles Stone is that his wife, Anne Kidd, was the sister of my great-great grandfather, Edwin Kidd.
Thank You,
