Stones and Fergusons in Georgia & NC 1700-1800's
I am hoping to find information regarding the parents, grandparents, and siblings of Flora Ferguson (cir 1771-1859) who married Daniel Stone(cir.1770 of North Carolina) in Henry/Dekalb County/Fulton, GA around 1840. I understand her parents were David Ferguson and Nancy Harper (born North Carolina), Flora's siblings included Elizabeth and possibly a Daniel or Angus??? I also understand she was married first and when she met Daniel in Georgia she had 2 daughters and a son Joseph who were all born in NC. I believe after she married Daniel they had other children including another Joseph???? I would like family information on Daniel Stone also. I believe he could have been a son of Captain Daniel Stone who fought in the war of 1812 and was granted 545 acres on the Great Pee Dee river in 1791 (any idea what county this could be?). I understand he was first married to Elizabeth James in North Carolina and they had a daughter Cinthy. Elizabeth must have died because when Daniel and Cinthy joined Utoy Baptist church in 1836 in Georgia, there was no mention of Elizabeth. I would love to find out about both Daniel's and Flora's families as I am at a dead end and missing generations.
I would appreciate any history and lines.
