Hello again,

Interesting!

Montraville Stone, son of Joshua Stone and Elizabeth Ruth Blackman, was born on May 9, 1810 in Hinesburgh, Chittenden County, Vermont and died on Oct. 30, 1888 in Oberlin, Lorian County, Ohio. Montraville Stone married Mary Ann Smith on April 20, 1843 in Bath, Summit County, Ohio. They had four children all were born in Strongsville, Cuyahoga County, Ohio.

Montraville's father Joshua Stone was a brother of my ancestor Ebenezer Stone who had a son Harmon! The families of both of Joshua and Ebenezer came to settle at Strongsville, Cuyahoga County, Ohio about 1821-1823 from Hinesburgh, Chittenden County, Vermont.

How was your Stone family related to my Stone family because of same name Montraville and Harmon but they were born at different years.

It must be that we are distant cousins.

Jill S. Lensbower
