I was able to obtain the info on the Stone family after I read your message. I went to FamilySearch through the LDS
I was able to get Hargues McNeil Stone and Matilda Jane
and the 3 boys but it also said thay had a girl but no name and thay had his father and mother so I clicked on them and it brought up Andrew Stone Jan 1 1813 Washington Virginia and Lucinda Fortner Dec 7 1820 Ohio they were married in Knoxville Marion Co. Ia and buried in Brekenridge Cem Nr. Knoxville Ia.
It did give his father and mother but had no info so I went toRootsWeb.com and Andrew Stone and it came up with John and Chloe Hargis born 1778 Ky for both and married in Washington Co Virginia with 3 son's Lewis 1804 and Andrew 1813 in Washington Co. Virginia and Hargus 1818 in Ohio
There was no father or mother listed for John and for Andrew he and Lucinda had 8 ch it listed the 3 son's of Hargues and Matlila as William Andrew 1878 Pearl Earnest 1897 and Lloyd Earl 1900 all of Columbia Iowa
Hargues was Elizabeth Ussery/Henry/Atkisson/Stone
3rd marrage the first John r. Henry was killed in the line of duty as Sheriff that was in Nov 1897 Granddad Ira Henry was only 3 weeks old when he was about 3 she married John Miles Atkisson and he was also sheriff of Wight Co. Mo. and was killed in a shot out in frunt of a church then she married Hargues I will have to get the year

she split when I was 4 so all but 1 was placed up for adoption that was in 1955 I have 2 brothers 1 older and 1 younger and 1 sister that was raise by Grandma Henry and a half sister that was raised by her brother Terrill in Kansas City Ks. that is where we were all born
