I know I have posted this before, but I thought I would try again. ANNE STONE is one of my brick walls.
I am trying to find info on the Hindsley/STONE families. Joseph Hindsley b. 1740? moved to Chowan Co. in 1775 from Maryland with his wife Ann? and children Mary, Joseph, Charles, Ann, John b. 1767.
JOHN HINDSLEY is my gggg-grandfather. He married ANNE STONE b. 1787 on March 7 1807 in Bertie Co. NC. In 1823 they moved to Tenn with children, then to Ohio in 1827 where they stayed in Darke Co. Ohio.
I am needing any info on the Hindsley’s and especially on ANNE STONE. We have no info on her family. I am assuming that since they were married in Bertie Co. that this is where Anne was from.
