I have recently received some information that ANDREW STONE b. 1813, Washington Co., VA, d. 1891, Marion Co., IA was the son of JOHN STONE & CHLOE HARGIS(b. KY) m. about 1800, VA.. I've got 8 of Andrew Stone & Lucinda Fortner's 10 children: Mary Jane (my ancestor), Lewis, Andrew Hillis, Hargiss(Hargues?)McNeil, Sarah Abigile, Amanda Belle, Chloie, Alice Sherman.
I believe Lewis Stone b. 1804, Washington Co., Va., d. 1878, Marion Co., IA m.abt. 1833 to Catherine Seymore (Seymour) was ANDREW's brother as he also had a child by the name of Hargus McNeel Stone as well as a Mary, Amanda, and Andrew. Most born in Parke Co., IN. He then moved to Lee Co., IA.
I am looking for all JOHN STONE & CHLOE HARGIS's children and parents of JOHN STONE. Can anyone give me a clue?
