I have no information on that particular line. My re-
search has dealt primarily with the Stone lineage of
William Stone Sr., that lived with his son, Lemuel. This
line of Stone family members are so numerous I have not
researched the great great grandchildren of many that are
of this heritage. Although I have come across the name of
John H. Stone, my records are not complete on this line.
I wish I could be of more help but my days of research are
quickly coming to an end. I have had help with my research
by a wonderful young lady that married my grandson but I
am soon to lose her help for they are moving to Georgia.
I have to rely on friends on the imternet now for I can
not travel as I once did. Old age in my case has kicked
me in the seat of my pants. I was hoping that when that
day came I would not be wearing them at the time but I
was and it has and now I can't.
Back to Lemuel and his brother, William Stone Jr.,. These
men lived in Georgia and offspring of theirs moved to Ala-
bama while William Sr. , Lemuel, and William Jr., and many
of their children moved on into Texas back in the mid
1850's. John I am sorry I could not help you but I will do
what I can to help you with this question you ask and post
it on the forum. Let me know if you learn anything new for
I am keenly interested in the John H. Stone line.
Thanks and Have a safe and Happy Holiday with your fam-
ily and friends and I will talk with you again shortly a-
gain if the old devil will stop kicking me in the seat of
my pants. Bill
