Micajah Stone, Sr. and Apphia Hurt Family
Researchers;
Those interested in the lineage of and descendents of
Micajah Stone and Apphia Hurt, I need to know for sure how
many children they had. Several different published
geneology charts have various numbers of children credited
to them. One states that in it's research it only wants
true information to publish. They have been fed muuch false
information they had to sort. I believe this to be true for
it has happened to me. In their report it states that
Micajah Stone, Sr. and Apphia Hurt had only two sons. One
was named, Admire Hurt Stone, brn.1768 and his younger
brother Manoah Stone, brn. 1782. It does not seem likely
but not unreasonable that 16 years are between these two
brothers without other siblings. Another thing is this!
Evidence indicates there were at least had to be three bro-
thers and not just the two as the research report states.
Why?? Micajah Stone is listed as being a "senior" indicating that there was a son named after his father
that would be a "junior". Thus that would indicate three
sons. Can anyone set me straight here??
