I have my grandfathers line as Hardin, Willis, William, and Morris. I have more info but only from the internet and I am not able to verify it. I have Hardins wife as Mary Bell Phelps, then Obediah, Lorenzo Dow, Obediah, and James Phelps.
My fathers line is what I am having more trouble with. My grandmother was Percella Phelps married to William V. Estep. My aunt told me her family was buried at the Pine Thicket Cemetery and that her fathers name was Tava? who I can't find. I found Martin Van Buren, Andrew F, also James B and John T. I am just not sure but I wonder about John T. Some of the names of his daughters and sons sound familiar and I can remember my parents mentioning them when I was growing up and even visiting his one son Leslie. I think most of the Phelps go back to James Phelps and Mary Batement in N.C.
I don't know much about Hulda though. I remember her visiting us when I was a child but that is about all. I don't see family very much and haven't heard her mentioned in a long while. I am sorry I don't know more. Any ideas on my grandmother would be appreciated.
