You see, according to my research, my great-grandmother Jennie Stoffels, is descended from what may be a branch of the Elburg Stoffels. She emigrated to the US in 1887 with her family, including her father, Evert Herman Stoffels b.11-Mar-1855. She married her husband Peter A Comys (Comijs) in 1907, and lived in Paterson.
