Baldwin Twp is in Allegheny Co. which is not that far from Cambria County where Johnstown is. There is only Westmoreland County in between them. I just got a death certificate for my great grandmother's brother, Harry B. Stoffal, and it gave his place of death as Greensburg, Westmoreland Co.
And about that census, one of the children is named Phillip Stophels, age 5, which would put his birth year about 1845.
