Hi there ! I know it's been quite a while since your post, but I'm hoping you might be able to help me; I'm a newbie to the fascinating world of genealogy, and found your post while stumbling around the various sites.

My mother was Rose Kathryn Teresa Vomacka (pronounced vo-mawtch-ka); she was born 1902 in Omaha Nebraska...Her parents were Kate and Jim, who came to the USA as small children from Bohemia...Kate and Jim had a large family, starting with the eldest, Adolph...down to the youngest, William, who was a couple of years or so younger than my mother...they lived on Dominion St., which is now 13th st.,
as I recall...Oh yes, I almost forgot! my grandmother's maiden name was "Dopeda"...I'm not sure of the correct spelling !

I have no knowledge of an Agnes in the family, but that doesn't mean she wasn't there !

I would appreciate any information you might have to assist me in my search for my roots...

Thank you...

Sincerely,

Mary Lou Lehman Conroy
