I've been researching the records at St. John's Broad Creek Episcopal Church at Piscataway, MD, and have a number of ancestors that also are using the name Trueman/Truman as a first name. A number of later generations chose the name as a middle names as the Stodder family had done.
Do we have any clue as to where this large proporty in England that your John Truman Stoddert refers to is located?
