BRIDGEMAN - Charlotte Persis Ella passed away peacefully with family at her side at Saskatoon Convalescent Home, Tuesday, June 7, 2005. The Funeral Service for Charlotte will be held from Christ Church Anglican (515 28th Street West, Saskatoon SK) on Saturday, June 11, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. conducted by Rev. Jim Halmarson. Cremation to follow. Charlotte is survived by her children, Yvonne (Robert) Butterfield, St. Brieux SK, Jim (Claudette) Bridgeman, Saskatoon, Elaine (Colins) Geber, Moose Jaw, and R.J. (Bob) Audette, Red Deer AB; grand and greatgrandchildren: David (Chantelle) Butterfield and Mason, Saskatoon, Julia (Denten) McDougall, Kirsten, Robert and Kendra, St. Brieux, Kimberly Audette and Don Walker, Erika and Sarah, Fort McMurray, AB, Clinton (Rhonda) Audette, Barrhead, AB, Joel Bridgeman, Saskatoon, and Leah Bridgeman, Banff, AB. She is also survived by numerous extended family members. Charlotte was predeceased by her parents; her loving husband, Russell; seven sisters; one brother; two nieces; and a nephew; as well as seven brothers-in-law and one sister-inlaw. Charlotte was born November 8, 1915, at Wawanesa, MB, to Rev. Daniel A.B. and Mrs. Anne (Baily) Stoddart. She grew up in Brandon, MB, New Denver, and Vancouver, BC. While visiting Manitoba she met her future husband, Russell. They were married June 26, 1942, in Vancouver. In early 1944 they returned to Manitoba to farm. When Russell joined the army in 1954 the family moved to Cultus Lake, BC, then Werl, Germany, and back to Dundurn, SK in 1959. 1964 brought a move to Saskatoon, where the family stayed. Charlotte was a dedicated wife, mother, homemaker and gardener who joyfully threw her energies and wisdom into the service of her Church and community whenever and wherever needed. She was especially active in the altar guild, choir and Anglican Church Women, of which she was a life member. Charlotte taught in many venues including Sunday School, and her special joy, Kindergarten at Dundurn Military Camp from 1962 to 1972. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Christ Church Music Ministry (515 28th Street West, Saskatoon SK S7L 4R5), the Saskatoon Convalescent Home (101 31st Street West, Saskatoon SK S7L 0P6) or a charity of the donor's choice. Interment of cremated remains will take place at Ancrum, MB. Arrangements are entrusted to John Janex of McKague's Funeral Chapel
