My Great Grandmother was Hettie Olivia Stoddard. Her father was Elmer R Stoddard, in the 1920 Census she claimed her father was born in Iowa. Her Mother was Sara Ann "Sallie" Mosely. I have only found recently that Sara Ann was half Indian, born in Alabama. My Great Grandmother was born 11/01/1874 in Alabama. She married Joseph David Perry 11/26/1890 in Meridain, Lauderdale County, Mississippi. My Grandmother, Mary Hettie Perry was born in 1892 in Meridian, Mississippi. The Stoddards that stayed in Mississippi have heard that Elmer had gone back north. There were four boys born after Hettie Olivia, Charles, Waymon, Elmer Jr, and William.
This may be the Native American woman you were looking for. I have nothing on the Mosely's or the Stoddards prior to this. I'm still lookng.
