DIED -- in this city, May 13th, Nellie A., wife of J.P. STOCKWELL, and daughter of F.A. GARDNER. [The Funeral will take place this afternoon at 3 o’clock from the Baptist Church.]

FUNERAL -- The obsequies over the remains of Mrs. J.P. STOCKWELL took place in the Baptist Church in the presence of a large congregation yesterday. Rev. Mr. HENDRICKSON delivered a discourse upon the occasion. There is a universal and heartfelt sympathy for the bereavement which has fallen to the lot of the surviving relatives of the deceased in the loss of a mother and sister within the space of a few weeks, which is also shared by the husband and father. The deceased was widely known and respected in our social circles, among which her presence will cause a vacuum never to be filled. The body was deposited by the side of the mother of the deceased, in the Rural Cemetery.
