Sorry for the confusion. I was asking if anyone knew who John F. Stockton's parents were. Fortunately, Jerry Stockton (via this website) was able to provide me with a great deal of information to help me identify John's father, Thomas J. Stockton and his mother, Mary (last name unknown). The source is the family bible of William R.D. Stockton (John F's brother) that dates back to the early 1800's.
