Nice to hear from you.In a N.C. deed book from Macon, Ga. Library,I saw an entry from July 1, 1779 where a Isaac Stocks bought 100 acres and the chain bearers were Isaac Stocks Jr. and William Hardee (husband of Nancy Stocks). This should be your Isaac of Ga. who probaly left N.C. right after that as that's about the time that land grants were being granted to the men who fought in the Revolutionary War. I still cannot trace to Wright Stock's father though I still think that it was Hillory (I think) who was the son of William (I know) who was the son of Isaac Sr.. Anyway it is good to hear from you again. Joe Smaha
