In addition, an article on the Stocketts of Kent and London by James Trabue has appeared in the Coat of Arms (the journal of the Heraldry Society (London), 2004, vol. 207-208, pp 311-326. This was of particular interest to me because I am compiling a photographic library of hatchments and armorial panels for the Council for the Care of Churches (an office of the Church of England). The memorial panels for this family in St Stephen's Hackington, Kent, are among the oldest extant. I should like to correspond with Mr Trabue about a detail of his research, if he would email me at
