Re: Stockett - Wells arms

Someone forwarded to me a Xerox of the tombstone of Joseph Noble Stockett with the arms of Stockett impaling those of Wells. The picture is not clear and I would like to determine the charge which appears on the chevron. Does anyone have a good photo of the arms.

Frank Stockett in his genealogy of the Stockett family mentions engraved silver as well as some drawings and notations of the arms. From his comments, it would appear that they were in existence at the time he wrote his book. Does anyone know of their current whereabouts? I have been researching the family in England and hope to publish an article on the arms in the near future. (I will post a notice on this forum.) I also am hoping to do a book on the English ancestors of the Stocketts.
