The Stocker Stadium was named after my father Ralph F Stocker In May 1972 after his death in April. He had worked for the City of Grand Junction for 44 years. The Park office in Lincon Park was where I was raised. A Small house behind that house is where I was born. It is down on a street that I can't remember the name of. Dad worked every game at the stadium unless he was on vacation. Daddy was born in North Judson, IN in 1900. His father was Michael and his mother was Fredericka Koble (Kolble). His father George came to Usa in about 1857 and had one brother Michael that we know of. He was one of 9 children. There are only 2 girls that Mother and Dad were blessed with. My sister Evelyn and myself Helen. It was interesting when I saw the Message on the board.
