I too am a decendant of John and Mary Broughton Stockbridge through their daughter Mary who married Benjamin Singletary. Do you have any info on the parents of John and Mary, or of Benjamin Singletary's mother's family? She was Susannah Cooke.
My line of decendency is many generations and decends as follows from Benjamin Singletary and Mary Stockbridge to son Brayton Singletary, to daughter Deborah Singletary who married John Jordan, to daughter Margaret Jordan who married Walter Gibson, to daughter Jane Gibson who married Joseph Hardin, to daughter Jane Ann Hardin who married Alexander Vitchworth Goodin, to son Thomas Goodin who married Mary Ingram, to son Ebenezer Goodin who married Jane Fuson, to daughter Mary Elizabeth Goodin who married Henry Campbell, to daughter Rebecca Jane Campbell who married Calvin Cornelius Hughes, to daughter Fannie Candus Hughes who married Arch Durham, to son J. C. Durham who married Maudine Martin, and to me their son Calvin Martin Durham.
As you can see, I am many name changes from the Stockbridge name, but we are a big family. I would appreciate info on how to access the articles you mention, and anyone that would correspond and give further information on previous generations in England. I have nothing to that point.
