I guess I haven't visited this forum in a while. My lineage as far as I can determine is John Stockbridge and Mary B. Mary Stockbridge and Benjamin Singletary, Hannah Singletary and John Dunnam, Robert Dunnam and Susan Bourne, Robert C. Dunnam and Mary Ann Davis, Andrew Johnson Dunnam Sr. and Martha Watson, James F. Dunnam and Sarah E. Woods, Andrew Allen Dunnam and Marcella A. Williams, Amanda Dunnam and John Matthew Nichols, Alpha Nichols and Alva Snearly, Edith Snearly and Arvel Brown.
Andrew Dunnam and his wife Marcella left Alabama sometime after 1883 and moved to Newton County Arkansas. Andrew's parents did not survive the civil war and he lived with his grandparents from the age of about 9 years. James F. Dunnam was born in Wilcox County, Alabama. If I remember correctly, his grandfather Robert Commander Dunnam came to the Mississippi Territory from North Carolina.
