Hello Neal,
I don't know if we have a connection. My St. Louis ancestors moved from Quebec to Missouri in 1833. They descend from the Billy family that arrived in Quebec during the early 1600s and eventually adopted the dit name St. Louis. The first making the move to the U.S. was Jean Baptiste Billy dit St. Louis (1782-ca 1864). I think he had dropped the Billy surname by this time. The St. Louises remained in Missouri until 1852 at which time they moved to California.
What was Mary St. Louis' married name. My grandmother (Mae Agnes St. Louis, 1879-1976) had photos of a number of relatives about whom I know little or nothing. Perhaps this Mary St. Louis is among them.
