I am trying to find out who adopted George, we know that he was adopted out of York NE, York County NE. We just don't know who adopted him, also we know that Grandpa's Mother married Burnts and they were Grandpa's Step-Father. They were from the Seward NE area. Any information that you can find would be greatly appreciated. Even my Father wasn't able to track any of his relatives. However this if you was to take a picture of my Father and put it beside the picture of Vinegar Joe Stilwell they really look alike. When I first saw Joe Stilwell's picture in the history books I just about fell over, it was my Father over and over again, so that's very hard to believe that Grandpa Stilwell was adopted, but everyone says he was, but nobody has any records of his adoption papers.
