Magdalena Stickles b. 1740, was one of my ancestors. She was married to Wilhelmus Simon b.1736. They had at least one child, David Simon b. 1767 who married Margaret Van Deusen. Sometime after the 1800 census, they changed the name to Simmons.
There are many Stickles who married Van Deusens, as listed in the Van Deursen Family book. And several Simon's married into that family also. AND, there were quite a few Sharts who married Van Deusens also. BUT, I do not see the first names that you mention for either Shart or Stickles in the books that I have, that were printed before 1910 about. Perhaps you have tapped a new vein.
If you have any info on my 1740 Grandma Magdalena Stickles, I would be eternally grateful. I would love to learn about her ancestors, and about the Stickles family.
