Hello:

I have the following information from Morrow Co., Ohio 1880 History of Gilead Twp., Chapter V., contributed by Rev. Henry Shedd, Gilead Twp., Mt. Gilead doctors, John Stickel, Welch, R.L.Roberts & Johnstons, physicians.

I have found other Stickels listed. I believe that one of the original immigrants went by the name Stoekel of something very similar.

ANY help very welcome.

Edward Stickel d. 13 Jul 1899, aged 70y/1 mo/27 days, Richland Twp.

Emma Stickel 22 m. Christian Knickel 11 Nov 1889, Rev F.W.C. Wiedkers

Maria Stickel m. Philip Hoffman 17 Feb 1881, Rev. P. Ruhl, Reformed. Others listed.
