Hallo Carole,
We must be related somewhere. Going back in my ancesters, i've found a Cristoph Stickel, born 19-12-1728 in Spielberg?Wurtt. He married Agnes Durr, born 1736 also from Spielberg/Wurtt.
Next step is another Cristoph Stickel,born 26-2-1763, he maried a Rosina Luz born????
This family ended up in Bessarabia around 1800.
My mother was born there in 1935. Due to world war 2, al these Stickels were bruought back to Germany, where I was born.
