Stickel, west coast and Germany ancestry

I'd be interested to find out information about my branch of the Stickel tree. My aunt has traced the tree back about four generations. My branch is the Stickel/Patnode/Cyr side. I have always been told the Stickel branch started in Germany. I see that many of the branches did or many of us are distantly related. I believe the landing point in the US for my relaives was around southern Washington... a hops farm was started. I'm going to germany in April and would find it interesting to look up relatives if possible. I'd also be willing to help anyone else find out a bit o' info while I'm over there. I'll be staying in Tuebingen.
