Thanks for your reply on Stewarts. This has
really been a tought one to crack!! I have
so much on my other family branches but not
the Stewart side. So maybe this will help
My great grand father was James SamuelStewart
born 1852 I have always been told they came
to Arkansas from Tupelo (AREA) Miss. Never
knew exactly what part of that County. I
recently found some information on my great
grandmother (his wife) Emily Catherine Fair.
Born in Banner, Miss. 1855. They had 9 child
ren, of course one was my grandfather Alfred
Aaron Stewart. Now I am trying to find out
more about the Stewarts. Iknow James Samuel
had brothers, as I have heard them spoken of
I am writing a letter to my great aunte to
see if she can help. I will be going to the
Morman Library here in Mesa, Arizona next
week and may find something, I'll let you
know!!
