Lemuel we believe is a brother to our gg grandfather Archibald Stewart or his uncle. Archie and wife Sarah traveled from Warren County TN to Stoddard County to visit Lemuel and surmise he was there to possibly have papers signed right after the death of Archie's father Archibald who died in Feb 1850. The will for Archibald was filed in Obion County perhaps on their way home (Archie and Sarah) Their son, John Stewart, was born in Missouri before they returned to Warren County (McMinnville TN area) If this helps I will send more info at your request.
