Hi Yvonne, I'm nee Stewart and also researching the Loyalists/Tories. My Stewarts were from SC/GA so I don't think Kenneth is one of mine; all these regiments kept absorbing into another so very difficult to follow.

I've had my best luck searching the internet re Loyalists of the Southern Campaign; Loyalists in the Rev War and so on...you might find info searching your ancestor's name ie "Loyalist Stephen Sisney/Sessony Revolutionary War".

If you are a member of ancestry.com, there is a military link "Loyalists in the Southern Campaign". There are many websites on these fellows. I use Yahoo and Google.

Good luck; by the way, it's addictive (lol)!

Lynda
