Alexander, born 1796 married Susan Shindel around 1823, children Elias 1825, John W. 1834, Lewis L. 1838. Alexander was a gate keeper on the canal around Middletown. Lewis L. was my Great Grandfather. Does anyone have any information on this family. Thank you.
