Kay,
Thank you for responding. It seems there are a lot of Stewarts in that area. I have just started to research them. The info posted is all I have and that was passed down in a letter from a Great Great Aunt of mine. No sources or anything. I knew Jimmy Stewart, the actor, was from there since my Grandfather had shopped in his father's hardware store there as a kid before moving to WA state. I thought maybe we were related but his roots bare no resemblance to mine.
It seems as though you may be on a different line or working later down the generations from my connection. If you find anything that may link us or anything I would appreciate it.
