I finally found them.I kept looking for Ila Ham or Ila Bashford but couldn't find either. Finally found BASFORD on the 1930 census index, although when I read the original census, it is clearly written as BASHFORD.Anyway, here are those census records:
1910, US Federal Census, 25 April 1910, Beaver Co., Oklahoma, Benton Township, dwelling #80:
HAM, William C., head, married once, age 31, married 14 years, b. Alabama, both parents both Alabama, general farmer
HAM, Malinda, wife, age 32, gave birth to 7 children, 5 survive, b. Mississippi, father b. Alabama, mother b. Mississippi.
HAM, Floyce, son, age 13, b. OK
HAM, Evaline, daughter, age 11, b. OK
HAM, Iler M., daughter, age 8, b. OK
HAM, Clayton, son, age 3, b. OK
HAM, Veney, daughter, age 6 months, b. OK
In the 1930 census, Malinda has remarried:1930 US Federal census, Motley Co., Texas, Pct. 5, enumerated April 7, dwelling 56:
BASHFORD, Oliver L., head, rents, age 59, married first at age 44, b. MO, father b. OH, mother b. OH, farmer
BASHFORD, Malinda, wife, age 52, married first at age 17, b. Mississippi, father b. Ind, mother b. Alabama
BASHFORD, Clarence C., son, age 15, b. OK
BASHFORD, Bonnie D., daughter, age 13, b. OK
BASHFORD, Lewis, son, age 11, b. OK
BASHFORD, Lucile, daughter, age 8, b. Missouri
Floyce Oliver Ham, son of William and Malinda, registered for the draft in World War I, stating he was age 21, born in Alabama on Sept 7, 1896, was self-employed at the time of registration, and lived in Turkey, Texas. He said his nearest relative was "Ozula Ham" also of Turkey, Texas. He was described as having gray eyes and black hair, and he signed the card on June 5, 1918.He died Feb 1967 in Hall Co., Turkey, Texas, and is listed as "single."Another researcher lists his wife in a Family Tree as being Leona Bell Keever Ham, and said that Floyce ran a barber shop in Turkey, Texas.
Working backwards, in the 20 June 1900 US Federal census, Indian Territory, Choctaw Nation, Dwelling 257 (before Oklahoma was a state):
HAM, William C., head, b. April 1878, age 22, married 5 years, b. AL, father b. AL, mother b. AL, farmer
HAM, Lindy T., wife, b. Nov 1877, age 22, gave birth to 2 children, 2 survive, b. Mississippi, father b. AL, mother b. MS
HAM, Floice, son, b. Sep 1896, age 3, b. AL
HAM, Eva, daughter, b. Nov 1898, age 1, b. AL
Working back to the 1880 census, it appears that your William C. Ham might be the son of Henry and Nancy Ham of Fayette Co., Alabama. You can find that free census at www.familysearch.org.
So this gives you some info to look at.Hope it helps you.
