Hi Cindy,
Archibald Stewart did have more children as follows from the 1851 census online:
From the 1851 Census for Williams:
STEWART
ArchibaldScot F 66 Con 20 Lot 31 &32 Widower: Farmer
Ann Scot F 22
Donald Scot F 20
Duncan Scot F 18
Catherine Scot F 16
Mary Scot F 14
Christian Scot F 12
Johanna Scot F 8
Jannet Scot F 4
Margaret Scot F 96 Widow
I'm not familiar with a James D. Stewart or a Neil Stewart, but admit my knowledge on the family is somewhat vague as it's my ancestors who married into them.So I could be easily missing something.
The Duncan Stewart you mention I believe is related to a different Stewart Clan.Duncan was the son of Archibald Stewart & Ann Stewart.Had brothers Archibald b. 1802; John "Jack of the Hill" Stewart b. 1804; Angus "Red" Stewart b. 1808 and Duncan b. 1807 who had the son named Neil b. 1836.
The are considered two seperate families I believe, but they came from the same place in Scotland (Glen Lyon)so they must be related somehow.I can't find the copies I made from the E. Williams History book, which is where I found all of the Stewart Information in.If you can get your hands on that book it may likely have what you are lookin for.Have you tried that resource yet?
Hope that helps some even if it's not really what your looking for.
Sincerely,
Sue O'Meara
