Hi Allister, I don't know if we have any connection at all but I wonder if you have any info on John Stevenson who became a clergyman. I cannot seem to get further back than my paternal grandfather Alfred Edward John Stevenson who lived and died (around 1960)in South Africa. One of the few things I know about him is that he had an ancestor, Uncle maybe, who was a clergyman.
