With many thanks to Erin Kelley who responded to my look-up request at the Norfolk County, Massachusetts message board at RootsWeb.com, I am pleased to report that Suffolk County, Massachusetts Deed 53:41 clearly identifies several children of Thomas & Sarah (PLACE) STEVENS of Boston, some of which have not been recognized as such before. This incredible deed also identifies Sarah as the daughter of John PLACE. At the point in time at which the deed was written, the children of Thomas & Sarah (PLACE) STEVENS included:
Sarah (STEVENS) HATCH, wife of Isaac HATCH of Hanover, MA
Jane (STEVENS) DYER, wife of Joseph DYER of Weymouth, MA
Benjamin STEVENS
Mary (STEVENS) AUBIN, widow (probably of Philip AUBIN) of Boston
Hannah STEVENS
Margery (STEVENS) ROGERS, wife of Jonathan ROGERS of Newbury, MA
