Albert Stevens, born in 1815 in New York, was 45 years old in the 1860 census. He was farming near Glendale in Monroe County of Wisconsin. He was married to Elizabeth Parsons who was born in England in 1827. Their children were Mary Jane 1844, Thomas 1847, Minerva 1849, Matilda 1852, William 1853, Frank 1855, and Elizabeth 1859. Later they had three more children, Charles E. 1860, Hiram 1862, and Alice Adelia 1863. Charles said his father drowned when he was about six years old. Charles thought his father was on a ship that sank in one of the Great Lakes. Afterward, Charles lived with the Heitsman family and Alice Adelia lived with the Boylan family.
I have been unable to find a death records for Albert and for his wife, Elizabeth.
