I don't know of any specifics that would tie this together. My Grandfather was Ernie Stevens, he farmed in Freeland Michigan.I believe that he used to live in the UP (Upper Peninsula of Michigan).I have heard through relatives that we are of Cornish descent.Coincidentally, I now live in Calumet, Michigan. If you find an Ernie that died, I'm guessing a little, in the mid 1960's let me know. The only other family history I know beyond him is a story that may have been his brother or possible uncle was the first person in the U.S. to die from a Car/Deer accident??He hit a deer, before safety glass was around, and lost his head. This supposedly happened in the U.P.
