Can you give any further information about Hugh's ancestry.
My name is david Stevely and it is probable that it is the same family.
My earliest information is Hugh Stevely abt 1785 married Sarah Campbell.

My descent is from Hugh to James to John to David to Robert.

I think you may be related to David Stevely of seattle who visited me in England a few years ago.

If this is the same line I may be able to help a little.
